About Us

As a home owner you've spent way too many hours fussing over bills. Trying to figure out how and where to cut costs just too save a few extra dollars. If, like me, the scrimping and saving on bills has led to arguments with the spouse, frustration, and a looming dark cloud hanging over your shoulder. You're not alone. I'm sure you've wondered if there could be an easy way to use renewable energy to power your home and cut your electric bills. I've had the same thoughts and have always assumed that solar energy wasn't affordable for the average person and way too difficult to install.

How Our Idea Got Started

It was actually during a camping trip to Zion National Park in Southern Utah that a friend of mine and I began to talk about going solar. We were staying at cabin and, this is going to sound really pathetic, lamenting that fact that we did not have our laptops handy. The conversation turned to how we could build our own cabin, and of course, power it using solar panels.

Starting The Site

A week later, back in civilization, I began my journey toward greener living with solar energy and Go Earth Energy was born. The goal of Go Earth Energy is to help fellow solar enthusiasts get over the hurdles as easily as possible, save money, and make your chunk of earth a little bit greener. You're in for a long, but very rewarding journey. I'll be here to share it with you.
